For Sale Farm in Las Horquetas, Sarapiquí, Heredia

This beautiful 9-hectare farm is completely flat and located in the humid tropics of Costa Rica. Of the 9 hectares, two are planted with completely producing Chinese mango or rambutan. There are also 9 ponds for harvesting tilapia, fed with natural water from a small private river that crosses the property; these ponds are not in use, but with very minimal work they can be put back into production. Here you can find a great variety of fruit trees such as avocado, lime, orange, coconut, etc., which together with all the remaining vegetation attract a large number of birds. In the innermost part of the farm there is a significant number of centuries-old trees of great beauty, offering impressive height and diameter. Access to this farm is very simple, as it is only 10 kilometers from Route 32 at the crossroads toward Rio Frio; in other words, it is just one hour and a few minutes from San José, crossing the imposing and beautiful Braulio Carrillo National Park. From this farm it is very easy to travel to tourist areas such as Limón (one hour), Rio Cuarto de Grecia (an hour and a half), the Tortuguero Canals (an hour and a half) and La Fortuna de San Carlos (two hours), all along roads lined with colorful and lush tropical landscapes. Whether to put it into production and build a prosperous business or to have a tropical paradise to rest in, this property has the potential to bring great satisfaction to its new owner, who will feel pleased and rewarded for the investment made.
